Only through Diagnostic Testing can the root cause, and therefore the most beneficial intervention, be determined in many instances.
We frequently encounter patients who have sought medical care repeatedly over the years from various other practitioners for a variety of complaints-- who had a simple nutritional or hormone imbalance, easily treated, but only found through laboratory evaluation by one of our reference labs. More commonly, there is a multi-layered relationship between a patient's unique genetic, metabolic, environmental, and nutritional makeup that influence how they manifest health or dis-ease on a daily basis.
Through our relationships with the leading functional medicine diagnostic laboratories in the U.S.A., we are able to offer a complete range of Diagnostic Testing to help develop an individual approach to the treatment of each patient. When ordered by our physicians for appropriate medical reasons, most testing is at least partially covered by medical insurance. Since many tests involve home collection of urine and saliva, the tests are convenient for our patients who travel from out of town.
